Whit has written and spoken extensively on construction accounting issues, and is the author of over 20 articles on construction accounting.  Whit is a frequent speaker on construction accounting topics and served on the AICPA National Construction Committee from 2014 to 2017.  Whit currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Construction Accounting and Taxation.  Whit has served as a Subject Matter Expert for CFMA publications, and is the author of two chapters of the Construction Controller’s Manual published by RIA Thomson Reuters.

Whit also performs claim documentation for public and private entities throughout the United States.  Whit has been accepted as an expert in construction accounting matters in both Federal Court and numerous State Courts.  He has worked on large multi-party claims for several Fortune 100 companies including GE, Siemens and Honeywell.  He helped speed the settlement in most cases and assisted all sides in reaching a clear understanding of the costs and financial issues involved.
