Carla Brown is a Senior Manager in the Roanoke office of Brown Edwards.  She has extensive experience with construction companies, including general contractors, heavy highway, and specialty trade. Carla has provided assurance and tax services to construction companies ranging in size from $500K to $200M in annual revenue.

Carla has held a license as a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia since 2008 and also earned the designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional in 2019.

Carla graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Construction Financial Management Association, the Associated General Contractors of Virginia and National Association of Women in Construction.

Carla currently lives in Botetourt County with her husband, two children (ages 9 & 11) and pup.  You’ll find her most days watching her children at their sports & activities or reading a book in the sunshine.  She is actively committed to serving the community and industry through current or past memberships on various community committees or boards including:
